Dr. William Marshall was born and raised in Claremore, OK. For him dentistry has always been a part of his life. Growing up many summers and days after school were spent at his father’s dental office in Oklahoma where his love for dentistry began. He even followed in his father’s footsteps going to the University of Missouri School of Dentistry where he received his BA/DDS degree in 1996. In 1997 he joined the United States Air Force where he spent two years in Misawa, Japan and one year at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. During that time, he completed a 6-week Periodontal Residency Course. From 1999-2002 Dr. Marshall worked as an associate dentist for Dr. Ronald A. Van Tuyl in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2002 Dr. Marshall and his wife Avis moved to Northeast Missouri to open Long Branch Dental Group.
Dr. Marshall is a member of: American Orthodontic Society where he is certified in Advance Treatment and Case Finishing Straight Wire by the American Orthodontic Society, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association who he also helps to lobby the senate which helps pass bills to help our patients and rural dental community, and the Northeast Missouri Dental Society where he served as a past President.
Dr. Marshall has provided free dental care to patients through the following programs: Missouri Mission of Mercy, Macon County Health Department school dental screenings, Special Olympics, and Mission trips in other countries.
Dr Marshall loves his church and community and serves as: ICS School board member, ICS parent advisory committee, Member of Macon Chamber of Commerce, and a Member of the Macon Knights of Columbus.
During his time away from the office Dr. Marshall enjoys spending time with his wife Avis and their three children Chase, Ian, and Ella. They are active members of the Immaculate Conception Church in Macon. He also enjoys hunting, hiking, traveling and watching Oklahoma football. BOOMER SOONER!
Dr. Fitzpatrick was born and raised in La Plata, Missouri and graduated from La Plata High School in 2001. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Truman State University in 2005 and graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in May 2009. Dr. Fitzpatrick moved back to La Plata after graduation and joined Long Branch Dental Group in 2009. She says it’s always felt great to come back home to provide dental care in the community she grew up in.
Dr. Fitzpatrick is a member of: American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Pierre Fauchard Academy, International College of Dentists, American College of Dentists, and Northeast Dental Society.
Dr Fitzpatrick was Awarded American Dental Association 10 under 10 Dental award in 2018. She enjoys being a part of Dental Leadership and serves on several professional associations such as: American Dental Association Council on Dental Practice 2020-present, American Dental Association 6th District Alternate Delegate 2018-2021, Missouri Dental Association Board of Trustees 2018-present, Missouri Dental Association New Dentist Committee 2014-2019, Missouri Dental Association House Of Delegates 2013-2018, Northeast Dental Society President 2016-2020, Northeast Dental Society CE Coordinator, Spear Dental Management, Missouri Mission of Mercy Co- Chair (in Kirksville) 2018.
She currently volunteers to provide free dental care to patients through Missouri Mission of Mercy as well as teaming up with the Macon County Health Department to do annual school screenings and apply fluoride treatments to children in Macon County public and private schools.
Outside of Dentistry she has helped her community by serving on: the LaPlata Public Library Board as Treasurer, PEO Chapter BF Vice President, Mash Camp Presenter, Health Kids Day Kirksville YMCA.
Dr Fitzpatrick married her husband Clint in 2009. They have two daughters Morgan and Emma. They are active member of the La Plata Christian Church. During her free time, she enjoys golfing, reading, and watching softball and football. She and her family spend a lot of time with her mother Ellen. If you see them out and about, she is likely to be with them.
